On Thursday, May 29th, the 2014 CAPPA (Creative And Practical Performing Arts) Awards were held in the cafe. The CAPPA Awards recognize student achievement in the arts. This year’s theme was “Broadway” and students were encouraged to dress up as their favourite broadway character or in semi-formal dress. Along with the award ceremony and art gallery in the common, the night featured performances by the Grade 12 guitar class, RND improv team, and the cast of “Guys n Dolls”. - The Grade 12 guitar class performed a musical composition which included Sister Luck, a Blues Duet, Air on G String, Crazy Train, and Free Bird.
