Gr. 11 students created Google Animations using a theme of their choosing. All projects are digitally painted and animated using frame by frame animation. We’ve done these for a few years now and the students always have fun and come up with such creative ideas! Well done all.
Here is a selection of creative art from our Media Arts students this year.
Gr. 11’s explored the pixel stretch technique in Photoshop using their digital photos. So fun!
We definitely have some future animators here at RND! Check out this amazing hand drawn, frame by frame animation by Jerika Morey.
Media Arts students send strong messages in their art about topics they feel strongly about.
Happy (belated) Holidays from the Grade 11 Media Arts class! These e-cards were animated on Photoshop by using the puppet warp tool, tweening, and sometimes even frame-by-frame digital painting.
To commemorate all the soldiers who fought for our freedom, the Grade 11 students created Remembrance Day posters using their choice of digital media – photomontage, digital painting, and typography. These posters were printed and displayed outside the gymnasium for the Remembrance Day school mass, which many students’ military parents attended.
Grade 11 Media Arts students enhance the movement in a photograph by creating a “pixel stretch” effect in Photoshop.
The task for this assignment was to design and animate a google doodle, and I think our grade 11’s did an awesome job!
