The task for this assignment was to design and animate a google doodle, and I think our grade 11’s did an awesome job!
These are some of the culminating activities from this years grade 12 class.
As you can see, many different students had different ideas and styles.
Neve Albrough designed a series of tattoos, and then used Photoshop to place them on different people.
Audrey Chabot illustrated her own tarot cards, her subjects being reptiles.
Logan Cooper created a GIF animation that was inspired by the Fort McMurray fires.
Kristofer – Aiden was inspired by artist Matt Rhodes. He created a series of images that convey a story without dialogue.
Lydia Meier wrote and illustrated a beautiful children’s story.
Here we have Some logos that the grade 12’s created! All of these were done using Adobe Illustrator.
Here, our grade 11’s have created beautiful pieces of hybrid art. For this assignment, students had to combine digital painting with photography and digital image manipulation to hybridize their pieces.
Here, The grade 12 students learned how to digitally meld photos to create pieces of art. Each student used their photography skills to take photos, and uses Photoshop create these works.
In this assignment, the grade 12 students were tasked to design their own phone case using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator.
When they were finished, the students were able to order their own customized phone case.

These animations were created by students using the timeline feature in Adobe Photoshop. The results are pretty awesome!
